A free, fun font crafted specifically for any companies, startups, agencies and organizations that want to foster better communication – created by PR consultancy Lore.
Businesses and orgs are hard at work coming up with creative and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. So why be hamstrung by a bunch of tired industry lingo? We’re all guilty of it. So, we figured, why not try to make things a little better?
That’s why we collaborated with XYZ’s Ben Kiel to create Jargonless, a free font that stops those meaningless buzzwords right in their tracks. Use the font in your decks, press releases, reports and more, and help keep things jargon-free.
Will this font stop people from using jargon? Probably not. But it’s a fun reminder to keep communication clear and a tool to help humans talk like…humans.
How it works
Load up Jargonless and use it as you would a normal typeface. It will automatically detect common words and phrases based on some recent studies and lists* on the most hated jargon and slash them out, nudging you and your team to find a better way of getting your point across.
Jargonless is based on Noto Sans and released under a CCO/public domain license. It is available in regular, italic, bold, and bold italic in both desktop and web versions.
